What does this look like on a daily basis?

As an AI Engineer, you will contribute to the transformation of the CPBS (retail) division of the BNP Paribas Group, in particular by promoting the adoption of innovative solutions integrating AI models (NLP and CV).

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a reference expert in modeling for NLP (and optionally CV)
• Serving as a reference expert in optimizing systems that integrate AI components (including generative AI) in production
• Supporting the operational entities of the CPBS division in delivering their AI projects (NLP + optional CV)
• Developing and maintaining AI components and services to improve the operational efficiency of bank–client interactions, particularly in the domain of advanced virtual assistants
• Defining and monitoring performance metrics associated with products and services that integrate AI models

PACE is a transversal entity within the CPBS division, with a transformation mission aimed at ensuring that our operational entities maintain a high level of excellence in customer experience, as well as in the profitability and sustainability of our business models.

You will join PACE’s Data & Analytics stream, dedicated to driving this transformation through AI and mathematical modeling. The stream is composed of around thirty experts, including AI scientists, AI engineers, and AI business analysts.

You will be assigned to the Language Analytics team, which specializes in designing and developing AI-based products for customer relationship management and for optimizing the operational efficiency of processes involving unstructured data. The team consists of 12 AI experts (AI scientists and AI engineers) and works on high-visibility projects, enabling you to quickly gain deep knowledge of the Group and its strategic priorities.

The position is based at the Palais de Hanovre (75002 Paris) with a 50% hybrid work schedule (on-site presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and odd-numbered Fridays).

Are you our next AI Engineer?

Yes, if you have a Master’s degree (bac +5) and at least 5 years of experience in Machine Learning on structured data, with expertise in data science and applied mathematics.

You are comfortable with the latest advancements in the field (Machine Learning, Optimization) and their implementation (programming). In particular, you can precisely define the methodology (model, process) best suited to solving a given problem.
