BNPP AM Alts Prime, GP Stakes Investment Intern:

This is an opportunity to join the GP stakes at BNPP AM Alts Prime, focusing on acquiring minority stakes in assets managers globally. 

Interns get a privileged seat to assess some of the most interesting private markets players in the asset management industry on a range of topics including their economics, their fund performances and their long-term strategic positioning. 

The team is lean and highly entrepreneurial; hence the role offers significant responsibility and learning from day one.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Assist the investment team in various aspects of the investment process (sourcing, valuation, due diligence) 
• Conduct sector and asset class specific research by reading industry reports

• Analyse public company filings and gather data sets for proprietary analytics on trading performance.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses including responding to LP inquiries, marketing presentations, industry benchmarking, analysing industry trends and more
• Prepare the quarterly newsletter related to GP Stakes activity 
• Tracking interactions with, and projects related to, portfolio GPs

Are you our next GP Stakes Investment Intern H/F ?

• Undertaking a masters or advanced degree in Finance / Economics 
• Previous experience in M&A, Private Equity or Management Consulting is preferred
• Interested in the asset management industry and alternative asset classes 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage databases used to drive decision-making
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach
• Fluent English speaker
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), Powerpoint and Word
