About the job

  • The Client Development team is responsible for all client management related activities, including sales, client relationship management and client satisfaction. Within this team, the central Client Development COO team is supporting Sales, Relationship and Client Services Management community to full fill their mission (i.e. shape the future and delivering on the promise to ensure an optimised client experience for each client.). Within the central Client Development COO team, the team in charge of Transversal CCCO and Operational and Permanent Control (OPC) topics is responsible for the oversight of the Client Development Risk framework through monitoring and coordination for their perimeter of activity worldwide with Global process owners and all local OPC involved and the dedicated entry point for global CCCO initiatives impacting Client Development

  • Main initiatives are evolution of our reporting enhancement, Compliance, Conduct and KYC changes, implementation of new regulation impacting our clients or Client Development team, GDPR and ROPA topics and ad-hoc queries

  • The team is in constant interaction with Relationship Managers and Client Services Managers in all our geographical locations as well as with the Business Managers (IT and operation), Client Lines representatives and the functions (Compliance, Legal, Risk). We are a dynamic team with a highly transversal and international scope


  • You will be in charge of covering various priority topics as defined by the Team Manager / Head of Client Development Global OPC and Transversal CCCO topics


  • Lead and manage the definition and coordination of the actions related to CCCO topics / initiatives / ad-hoc queries for Client Development with the teams involved. This will encompass:

          o  Representing Client Development for CCCO topics

          o  Support the Team manager for initiatives related to strengthening the Client Dev risk framework (contribute to the definition of the Client Dev. RCSA matrix, monitoring of controls, Indicents, remediation actions etc)

          o  Coordinate actions with Client Vision team to access to the client data

          o  Contribute to review and improvement of process and control plans under the perimeter of the client development process owner

          o Contribute on the analysis of conduct related scenarios and cases (Commercial gestures cases, Conflicts of Interest matrix etc.)

          o  Manage data, analyse and contribute to OPC and other CCCO governance presentations and documentation

          o  Define and manage project scope, timelines and deliverables for each project and map out interdependencies across other projects and functions

          o  Initiatives can cover: GDPR, ROPA, client referential, client data,  Testing phase involving Client Development (Global liquidation procedure , Assets Freeze, Banque de France), crisis situation, client set-up, client development annual questionnaire 


  • Manage strategic and operational changes within the Client Development teams on all compliance and due diligence topics relating to projects, organization, communication, procedure, and workflow. This will encompass: 

           o  Be the process owner on Compliance PIC (Client's Interest Protection) topics related to conflicts of interest and information delivered to clients that corresponds to Client development processes (maintain guidelines or procedures and control plans etc.)

           o  Be the point of contact within Client Development for Compliance projects, development and evolution (i.e policies, procedures, workflow and tools)

           o  Effectively managing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders at a senior level to understand the full impacts for the client development perimeter and representing client development and acting as the client voice to the various Project committees

           o  Implement appropriate governance structures to ensure effective delivery.

           o  Ensure that Client Development teams are involved at the different stages of the projects / initiatives, evolutions with clear definition of roles and responsibilities.

           o  Contribute to the organization of the change management for Client Development team


Your Main Activities Are


      •    Participate in the different analysis/framing phases working closely with all the 2S business units and Functions (Client Lines, Client delivery, 2S CCCO, KYC, RISK, Compliance…)

      •    Coordinate the different client development location teams, organize committees and ad-hoc meetings

      •    Prepare various project and governance support documents (powerpoint presentations, drafting or updating procedures and guidelines, meeting minutes)

      •    Present progress reports/results at relevant committees

      •    Consolidate the results within monitoring dashboards / synthesis documents for management team and other relevant stakeholders

      •    Analyse available data (indicative sources 360 Risk Op tool, Birdie, ORUS, Data Hub...) & identify areas for improvement to optimise processes and manage their implementation (Digitization / Automation of monitoring)


Profile and Skills to Success

      •    Master’s degree in Business Management

      •    From 5 to 7 years of experience in Risk and Controls

      •    From 3 to 4 years of experience in Client Management and Compliance

      •    Fluent level of English (C1-C2)

      •    Ability to collaborate / team work

      •    Good organisational skills

      •    Good communication skills, both oral and written

      •    Attention to detail / rigor

      •    Ability to synthetize/simplify

      •    Critical thinking

      •    Ability to develop and adapt a process

      •    Ability to manage a project

      •    Ability to manage/facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee, training
