About Business line/Function:
DEC and LD operations is part of CIB / Global Market Operations globally. Locally it is part of India services. Operations team is further divided into multiple functional pillars which provide service to the DEC and LD business that caters to the clients across the globe helping them execute and clear trades related to Futures, options and commodities and other type of derivative contracts.
The teams is responsible for smooth running of day today operations, processing activities such as confirmation, allocation, clearing, settling margin calls, reconciling trade, positions, cash market fees, brokerage. Team provides support across all regions APAC/EMEA/US. This team works very closely with other platforms and hub locations notably Lisbon, Singapore, London and US. Change and design role in DEC is responsible for consolidating and following up on the Ops and IT book of work to improve the process and tracking of the projects across the lifecycle and reporting to management.
Position Purpose
Reporting to the ISPL Head of DEC Change and Design this role is in charge of the project managing the various change initiatives in DEC including consolidating, tracking changes, reporting to management on regular basis. Ensuring the working group committees are appropriately set up and are functioning. To have the relevant parties are connected and aligned to ensure success of the project. The candidate in this role will need to work closely with other locations too.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role is critical and highly visible within DEC Operations, covering following areas
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects that enhance execution efficiency, controls, reduces risk controls, adheres to regulatory compliance and delivers automation across all listed derivatives products.
- Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with business owners, technology partners, risk & compliance, and front‑office desks.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans (timelines, milestones, resources, budget) by following relevant methodology.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Operation, IT, Business, finance, etc.) to secure requirements, manage dependencies, and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor progress and performance through KPIs, status reporting, understand risk and establish governance forums; proactively raise escalations when needed.
- Drive change management – prepare communication, training materials and user adoption strategies for new systems, processes or regulatory / market changes.
- Ensure regulatory and internal control requirements - are embedded in all deliverables and documentation.
- Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned, measure business impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
