Position Purpose: Looking for a candidate with 10 to 15 years of experience, motivated and enthusiastic Associate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, candidate will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with DevOps activates with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

•               10 to 15 years of experience as DevOps engineer using various technologies and tools and capable of handling multiple applications as DevOps engineer.

•               Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

•               Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).

•               Optimize release management to ensure zero-downtime deployments in production.

•               Containerization

•               Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Docker.

•               Implement observability tools (Grafana) for real-time monitoring and incident response

•               Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve your technical skills

Contributing Responsibilities

•               Analyzing defect trends and recommending test automation opportunities or tool enhancements

•               Contribute to improving Junit coverage for apps

Technical Skills:

·         Kubernetes:
  * Architecture: In-depth understanding of components (API Server, Controller Manager, Scheduler, Kubelet, Kube-proxy, etcd).
  * Cluster Deployment and Management:
    * Provisioning and maintaining K8s clusters.
    * Managing K8s updates and versions.
    * Designing robust and modular Helm charts.
    * Deploying and managing applications with Helm.
    * Integrating Helm into CI/CD pipelines.
  * Expertise in using and configuring Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Jobs, and CronJobs.
  * Kubernetes networking.
  * Performance and Optimization: Resource optimization (CPU/Requests/Memory limits), autoscaling.
  * Component monitoring and updates

·         DevOps:
  * Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
    * Design, implementation, and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines.
    * Mastering Jenkins (GitHub Actions CI/CD is a plus).
    * Mastering Ansible.
  * Containerization: Docker (creation of optimized and up-to-date images, Dockerfile best practices).
  * Alerting and incident management.
  * Security: Monitoring and managing updates to deprecated component versions.
  * In-depth Linux expertise (administration, network, performance, security).
