Job Title: Alteryx Developer

About Business line/Function: Boost-IDeA Business Intelligence department is part of ITG FRESH Connect supporting global Fresh, Finance and Risk teams. Primarily responsible for business analysis, functional support and developing tactical business intelligence solutions for Finance and Risk teams globally.

Position Purpose: The project currently requires a senior BI developer who could contribute to automation, development and maintenance of the project. 

Candidate needs to have experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs. The candidate should be proficient in the core skillset, should be flexible to work as an individual contributor as well as other tasks within a team. The candidate should take complete ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Should be able to translate business requirements into system design.
• Should be able to analyze user requirements, functional specifications, and providing development effort estimates for the same.
• In-depth understanding of ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework. Basic knowledge of SQL would be good.
• Should have hands-on experience on Alteryx and Tableau/Power BI.
• Optimization of performance of Power BI/Tableau/Alteryx reports being deployed in a global environment.
• Should be good at Communication (written + oral) Skills.
• Should have Business/Customer facing skills.
• Should have the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Should take complete ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
• Should be well aware about standard IT processes and methodologies such as SDLC, Agile and SCRUM

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Alteryx is used as a key transformation tool, so experience in the tool will be mandatory. 
• Expertise in Python, ML algorithms, Tableau/Power BI good to have. Should have developed complex dashboards and storage solutions using mentioned tool and technologies.. 
• Comfortable with VBA applications for MS Excel, MS Access.
• Basic office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Power Point)
• Different data sourcing, structuring, modeling, and storage concepts.
• Ability to analyze data sets, identify relationships, controls and processes.
• Ability to design solutions and prototypes based on requirements or broad ideas.
• Extrapolating business process ideas into comprehensive BI solutions ranging from data acquisition, processing and storage.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into Technical requirements.
• Experience in waterfall & agile models in software development life cycle. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects through different stages, evolving requirements and conditions.
• Documenting expectations and maintaining clarity, jira and agreement on timelines and delivery.
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and processes.

Specific Qualifications:

MCA/B-Tech or equivalent

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years software development experience in Alteryx. The BI Developer/Analyst will be responsible for the development and delivery of Business Intelligence Solutions primarily using Alteryx to support CIB Finance. The candidate should be able to understand finance data. Good to have hands-on other BI technologies including python, SQL, etc.

Technical Skills:

• Primary Skills: Alteryx, Tableau & Power-BI (Nice to have), Basic SQL

• Secondary Skills:, Python & Autosys would be beneficial (not mandatory)

• Miscellaneous: Awareness about AI tools is nice to have.
