Job Title: Tester
Department: F&RS - ISPL
About Business line/Function: BES-Exchange Layer
Position Purpose: To ensure that the candidate performs testing activities for the Application by catering to approved business requirements and project requests provided by finance teams within a banking environment.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Test design - generate test conditions and test cases/scenarios/scripts (i.e. ‘what’ to test)
· Test analysis – understand requirements for test (review of documentation)
· Test execution – execute tests, including the logging of results and raising of test defects
· Execution of regression tests and defect retesting when required
· Test Maintenance of regression tests
· Peer review QA checks of test scripts/test execution of other analysts
· Report progress to Test Lead
Contributing Responsibilities
· Contribute to overall department and ISPL Vision goals as directed by Dept. head and Manager
