Job Title: Reconciliation Manager
Department: Global IAM Centre of Expertise
About Business line/Function: The Global IAM CoE team performs security IAM tasks globally in partnership with regional IAM teams & CISOs. The activities mainly include design and review of onboarding form for application onboarding into IAM tool, performing security controls before creating a business role, validating SOD breaches, provide on-demand reports & evidences for audit RFIs related to IAM topics, perform manual reconciliation of access rights to detect and mitigate discrepancies and oversee access rights recertifications campaigns.
Position Purpose: Lead the User Access Rights Reconciliation team, ensuring accurate evaluation of access rights between target systems and MyIAM, and ensuring that detection & remediation discrepancies are executed in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role also involves stakeholder management, escalation handling, team management and producing management reports/KPIs on a periodic basis.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution the manual reconciliation process, including data extraction, entitlement‑mapping, discrepancy handling and reporting
- Oversee the daily activities of team members, assigning work, monitoring progress and ensuring SLA compliance
- Identify systemic issues (e.g., recurring orphan accounts) and drive root‑cause analysis and remediation projects
- Coach and develop the team, delivering training on Excel techniques, IAM concepts and related security controls
- Act as the primary point of contact for application owners, security officers, and the regional IAM teams for all reconciliation‑related matters.
- Handle all types of escalations and ensure any blocker or issues are timely addressed
- Lead the response to internal/external audit queries related to user‑access reconciliation, providing evidence packs and remediation status reports within the agreed timelines
Contributing Responsibilities
- Facilitate periodic governance meetings with the broader IAM community to align on the overall strategy, standards and policies.
- Define and maintain a capacity plan, skill matrix, etc. for the reconciliation team and align it with the IAM governance roadmap.
- Conduct formal performance appraisals (mid‑year & year‑end), document development goals, and drive improvement plans where needed.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) control framework
- Powerful Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, macros)
- Strong project‑management capabilities; ability to organise work‑streams and meet deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills (ability to influence technical and business audiences)
- Able to produce clear reports (KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, charts, data visualization in general…)
- Effective written and verbal communication for documenting discrepancies and interacting with application owners / management
- Automation experience (PowerShell, Python) to streamline data extraction and reporting will be good to have
Specific Qualifications:
- Any Cybersecurity certification like CISM, CISSP etc. will be an added advantage
