Job Description – Client Management Technical Lead

 

Position Purpose

Require java J2EE resource in role of Technical Lead for CEP IT Project with work experience of at least 8 years. These applications capture, store and distribute referential information for entities. This position is critical in driving technical vision, strategy, and execution of Client Management initiatives, thereby contributing to the overall risk management and integrity of the organization.  

Position will require to work in a globally distributed setup. 

 

Direct Responsibilities

·  Participate in the agile based project software life cycle

·  Understand application design and architecture. 

·  Work on tasks assigned independently and produce best fit deliverables

·  Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development, cloud computing, DevOps, and software architecture. 

·  Lead automation and guide teams to align with shift left and shift right strategy by encouraging a mindset for automation first and reducing recursive manual efforts 

·  Efficient communication with all stakeholders

·  Follow all the processes and guidelines for project and business group

·  Maintain highest quality standards of all the deliveries and work products

 

Contributing Responsibilities

·  Produce high quality code, perform code reviews and play effective team member role within the team of developers.

·  Work in close co-ordination with functional teams to analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Must Have Skills:

·       Hands-on experience in software development using Java/J2EE technologies, frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate), messaging (e.g. MQ) 

·       Core Java Proficient More than 5 years

·       Hibernate/JPA/ORM Framework Proficient More than 5 years

·       Spring Proficient More than 5 years

·       Oracle PL/SQL programming Intermediate More than 2 years

·       Web development using JSP/servlet and Angular technologies Intermediate More than 5 years

·       Automated Test writing using Selenium Intermediate More than 2 years

·       Understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture

·       Strong knowledge in RDBMS / SQL with Oracle or SQL server or Postgres 

·       Communicate and interact with BA’s in understanding different business requirements and developing /configuring the interfaces.

·       Working with QA team during the test lifecycle to analyze and fix the bugs.

·       Level 3 production support tasks

·       Estimate and track deadlines against sprint delivery.

Nice to have Skills: 

·  Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Go)

·       Experienced in caching technologies like Redis or Apache Ignite. 

·  Experience in Development Methodology (Agile, SCRUM).

·  Knowledge of BDD, Cucumber and Test Frameworks.

·       Good to have: Knowledge of Jenkins, Deployment, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Design Patterns, Working of Schedulers, Elastic Search.

About Business line/Function:

CIB Client Management IT has a focus on developing and maintaining applications which provides services to Client Lifecycle management, Due Diligence /KYC and Referential Operations teams and business users.

Technologies used include Java, .NET, Angular, Fenergo, MDM/Informatica deployed on private cloud infrastructure.

Agile and DevSecOps practices are widely used.

Application landscape includes projects that are a mix of established, under transition and completely new platforms.
