                    Become our new Financial Reporting Controller based in Porto

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE ASSETS ACCOUNTING TEAM

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • With a focus on Financial Assets portfolio, ensure that the French, IFRS and Solvency 2 packages are produced and delivered to the Corporate Department within the fixed deadlines and in accordance with the applicable regulations and standards:
  • Produce the quarterly IFRS packages prepared by the France Accounting by running controls and consistency checks including harmonization restatements
  • Guarantee the strict respect of the reporting deadlines
  • Contribute to the review and the quality controls to perform for IFRS GAAP on a quarterly basis,
  • Carry out analysis reviews necessary to better understand and monitor the entities’ status, situation and perspectives; to respond to queries raised by Group controllers,
  • Document all the work realized in accordance with the requirements defined by the permanent control,
  • Guarantee a regular reporting and communication on your tasks and activities to your team and Managers.


READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Solid knowledge of general accounting fundamentals and IFRS standards (IFRS 9/13/17) and French GAAP as a plus,
  • Experience working with financial reporting, ideally with financial assets portfolios,
  • Advanced Excel skills is key (SQL, Python or SAS are a strong plus),
  • Ability to work with data (reconciliations, adjustments, data analysis),
  • Experience with Financial statements preparation and control frameworks,
  • Analytical and detail-oriented,
  • Strong Team Player with good communications skills, 
  • Fluent in English (C1 or C2 level) is mandatory, French is a plus.
