ITO Management Controller with French
ITO Monitoring team is monitoring costs, activities and FTEs on COO Perimieter (mainly IT, Operation, Facilities, Procurement). We support around 100 managers located in twenty entities/countries. The team is composed of 17 resources, in 4 countries (France, Belgium, Romania & Poland), grouped into 4 poles :
- PMO: Project management tool support (Clarity PPM)
- Project Governance: managing IT portfolio projects and applying the Group Governance
- Data & reporting: help the team on reportings
- Cost monitoring (FCE: Financial Control & Monitoring): monitoring of FTEs (both internal & external staff) and costs (validate commitments & accruals, control invoices, build budget & forecast, build the TCO: total cost by application)
Responsibilities
- Prepare the end closure report, analyse and comment the figures for local accouting and CFOs (France & Belgium)
- Perform permanent control on local accounting bookings
- Monitor the Forecast / Budget Actuals for a budget owner within ITO
- Monitor FTEs: be involved in the monitoring of internal staff follow up (starters, leavers), and analysis Budget vs Forecast
- Perform Budget control on Committements & invoices
- Be involved in managing open purchase orders / accruals
- Update and document processes
Requirements
- Analytical skills: be able to analyze accounting data and explain the “story” behind the figures
- Team working: be inclusive, demonstrates strong relationship-building skills
- Good knowledge of Excel: complex formulas
- Knowledge of Power Query and/or power query is a nice to have
- The English and French speaking is mandatory
- Accounting knowledge: have knowledge of basic accounting rules (what is an accruals, what need to be checked on an invoice, what can be capitalized, what is amortization, what is P&L vs balance sheet…)
- The English and French speaking is mandatory.
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in cost control ideally, or in permanent control / accounting. Having experience in an international environment will be a “plus”.
