Graduate Program in Wealth Management Advisory (18 months - starting in April 2026)

This position will be based in Zurich for a duration of 18 months.

YOUR TEAM

You will be part of a cohort of 10 + investment specialists serving private‑client advisory relationships across BNP Paribas in Switzerland sites (Geneva, Zurich, Lugano). The team sits alongside market‑front groups and collaborates closely with the broader Investment Services department, which includes discretionary portfolio managers, wealth planners, and product‑specialist experts.


YOUR WORK DAY

The Zurich based graduate will serve as a key support pillar for the Investment Manager (IM) network spanning Geneva, Zurich and Lugano, while also providing dedicated assistance to the head of the IM team. The role is built around delivering premium, client‑focused service and proactively enabling investment managers to achieve their performance and business targets.

1. Support for Investment Managers

  • Operation control: Oversee and facilitate all types of investment transactions for advisors.
  • Client interaction: Respond promptly to client requests—primarily via telephone and e‑mail—and execute client orders under the supervising advisor’s guidance.
  • Reporting: Update and customise complex reports for sophisticated clients; occasional VBA coding may be required.
  • Recommendation preparation: Develop detailed investment proposals and recommendations based on advisors’ specifications.
  • Product & initiative support:
    • Draft switch ideas, identify appropriate client segments for specific solutions, and prepare email templates.
    • Contribute to new‑product roll‑outs and promotional material.
  • Portfolio reviews: Actively participate in client portfolio reviews; assist in organising client visits and conference calls.
  • Maturing assets: Monitor maturing bonds and structured products and generate reinvestment proposals.


2. Support for the Head of Investment Managers

  • Administrative assistance: Provide day‑to‑day support for the Head of IMs (located in Geneva) on any ad‑hoc tasks.
  • Data & analysis: Conduct data‑analysis, prepare presentations for senior committees, and produce ad‑hoc reports.
  • Dashboard development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the advisors’ performance dashboard (VBA‑based).


Overall expectation: Act as a proactive problem‑solver, addressing any request from advisors or management that can enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master degree in Finance, Engineering, or related field, less than 2 years of work experience after graduation
  • Essential IT tools: Windows, MS Office, Bloomberg, VBA Coding minimum 1-year work experience
  • Expertise in Private Assets in Wealth Management in a large bank, minimum 1-year work experience
  • Experience in using artificial intelligence tools in context of Wealth Management solutions
  • Spirit of analysis, organization, and good communication skills
  • Autonomous, curious and proactive
  • Residency in Switzerland
