Opis
The KYC Officer’s primary focus is to act as the first level of control in reviewing, advising and validating on KYC (Know Your Client) due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients as financial institutions and corporates.
Primary Role Responsibilities:
- Ensures client satisfaction and protecting the bank by coordinating with the Relationship Manager (RM), Due Diligence and Compliance teams during the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, and by monitoring and managing the Periodic Review and Onboarding processes.
- Ensures correctness and high standard of quality in the KYC files in adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures.
- Contribute to KPIs regarding quality (quality review including review of Compliance review results) and produce reports on the controls results performed and areas of improvement identified.
- Conducting due diligence process when KYC (Know Your Customer) files are submitted by the Business Lines for onboarding and review of the clients.
- Conducting research in official government records and other public websites,
- Evaluate client sensitivity according to a predetermined grid and instructions,
- Completing the KYC (Know Your Customer) forms according to the Bank's internal and external regulations within set timelines,
- Communicating with Relationship Managers in order to gather information about clients and and to provide the necessary documents,
- Following the next review dates of the KYC (Know Your Customer) files and inform the Business Lines and management,
- Helping with process implementation and verification and participate in procedure updates.
Job Requirements:
- University Graduate
- 2-3 years of experience in KYC and/or Compliance operations
- Very good command of English (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good command of active MS Excel usage
- Good command of MS Word and MS Powerpoint
- Effective Communication skills for in bank or out-of-bank customer relations,
- Teamwork oriented
- Able to give feedback effectively and timely
- Able to adapt to changes in priorities and manage the priorities effectively
- Eager to make researches and able to analyse the findings
