As a  Product Owner you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of your product and contribute to impactful solutions that make a tangible difference in the lives of our customers . You  prioritize the Product Backlog, and act as the link between different stakeholders to ensure clear, value-driven alignment. 

You will be part of the Transformation Office at BNP Paribas Fortis, which is the driving force behind the bank’s strategic evolution, leading the Agile transformation to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and value delivery across IT and business functions. With a clear mission to guide the bank’s transformation, we focus on value creation, operational simplicity, and performance optimization-ensuring a seamless experience for both colleagues and customers.

We are hiring Product Owners across multiple domain Transversal Capabilities & Functions.

• You shape the future of your product with vision & strategy. You develop a deep understanding of your product, its market, and its customers. You define the strategy of your product, based on market trends, user needs, and data. 
• You own the product lifecycle end-to-end. You define a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals-balancing innovation with feasibility. You act as the bridge between business, IT, and users, turning ideas into tangible solutions.
• You master the art of prioritization & delivery. You participate in strategic planning and translate it into products and product roadmaps. You work with agile teams to refine backlogs, mitigate risks, and adapt plans based on feedback or shifting priorities. 
• You identify, involve, and inform key stakeholders throughout the product development process, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES

• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• You demonstrate curiosity and passion for your product and are constantly seeking improvement.
• You show empathy and have good influencing skills 
• You are a team player and facilitate collaboration
• You have excellent organizational and decision making skills
• You have gained experience in an Agile working environment
• You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• You’re fluent in English (C1) and professional in Dutch or French (B2), enabling seamless collaboration in our multilingual HQ.

For Transversal Channel Capabilities & Function domain, we are looking for additional skills:  

You are familiar with strong authentication and electronic signature with the ability to align them with regulatory frameworks (eIDAS,...).  You understand the cryptographic principles and their application in secure systems.  You are able to assess security risks and collaborate with architects to design secure and robust designs.

In collaboration with the developers and the analysts, you refine the requirements ensuring a right alignment between security constraints and functional needs.

You have experience in integrating third parties, including vendor evaluation, API contracting and monitoring cross-system dependencies to ensure seamless interoperability.
