About the job
- The Know Your Client (KYC) Platform Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that services provided by the Shared Service Center (SSC) meet the Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Team Managers contributes to protect BNP Paribas against reputational, anti-money laundering, Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT) and fraud risks, and works closely with the Business and Coverage to understand the clients and with Compliance to ensure it provides all Regulators requirements
Your Main Activities Are
- Manages workload allocation across the area
- Manages day-to-day service issues and priorities and escalates issues if necessary
- Ensures central guidelines are applied within the area through governance implemented by the central team(s)
- Implements an internal governance within the team (daily/weekly meetings)
- Implements a governance with the internal clients (Business, Compliance, among others)
- Participates in recruiting SSC staff and organises cross trainings
- Monitor SSC performance based and process quality and reports to the 4C (Client Certification Competence Center) leader. Also, produces operational reports
- Contributes to the overall budgetary management of the service area
- Ensures the standardisation of SSC processes across Regions
- Proposes process improvements to central team and implements improvements upon validation
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s degree in Law or Business Management
- From 3 to 4 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Fluent in English
- Ability to set up relevant performance indicators
- Ability to inspire others and generate people's commitment
