The Securities Services business of BNP Paribas is one of Europe's leading providers of custody services for securities.

The Luxembourg branch plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services.

We are currently looking for a:

 

                                                     Trainee - Business Manager Assistant  (M/F)

                                                                                                                           12 months internship

Client Development team is responsible for all client management related activities, including sales, client relationship management and client satisfaction.  

 

Within this team, the Client Services Managers (CSM) oversee the service delivery with an overall responsibility to ensure an optimized client experience for each client whereas Relationship managers (RM) contributes to the protection & development of profitable revenue streams, acting as representative of the Booking location on the deals, in line with the global client strategy driven by the Global Relationship Management (GRM) and/or the Pilot Relationship Manager (Pilot RM).

 

The Business management team is responsible for a number of global & local initiatives to improve service delivery to clients and ensure consistent and quality client experience for all Securities Services products and services around the world.

The team is in constant interaction with the central Global Client Services and local CSM & RM as well as with the Business Managers (IT and operational), Client Lines representatives and the functions 

All processes are defined based on client needs and aim to improve the customer experience through efficient organization and adapted digital tools.

 

 

WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

 

§     Contribute to the definition of needs and the monitoring of planning, from the business requirements’ definition to the completion of projects. 

§     Define and manage project scope, timelines and deliverables and map out interdependencies across other projects and functions

§     Able to lead through influencing and navigate multiple stakeholders to gain alignment on key decisions and move projects forward

§     Ability to overcome objections and offer alternative approaches to progress project objectives

§     Provide administrative and coordination support to client servicing and commercial activities, contributing to the preparation of Service Review packs (KPIs, operational inputs, presentation materials…), assisting with committees and key governance, 

§     Support Client Service Managers (CSMs) and Relationship Managers (RMs) in complying with local rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the client lifecycle, including the proper documentation and tracking of business acceptance validation, complaints, action plans, commercial gestures and incidents.

 

Your working environment 

 

§ Job Location: Luxembourg

§ Team Description: You will be joining the Client Development Team, a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to enhancing client relationships and driving business growth. The team is composed of professionals with diverse expertise and background, fostering an atmosphere of innovation and mutual support.

§ Interactions Outside the Team: A business manager maintains constant interaction with various key stakeholders. This includes the central Global Client Services, local Customer Success Managers (CSM) and Relationship Managers (RM), Business Managers (both IT and operational), Client Lines representatives, and other functional teams. These interactions ensure seamless coordination and alignment with broader business objectives.

§ Teleworking and Remote Site Eligibility: This position is not eligible for teleworking or remote site work.

§  Eligibility Requirements: This position is restricted to individuals who are currently students, either in their gap year or participating in an alternance program.

ARE YOU OUR FUTURE BUSINESS MANAGER ASSISTANT? 

 

Professional experience and/or degree

 

No prior professional experience is required for this position. However, candidates should be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. While all fields of study are welcome, having a background in finance is considered a plus. This role is ideal for students who are in their gap year or participating in an alternance program.
