About Business line/Function: Finance & Risk Solutions (F&RS) is part of the IT GROUP organization with a threefold sponsorship by IT GROUP, FINANCE and RISK. F&RS is dedicated to design, build, implementation and business support of IT solutions to service the needs of Finance and Risk.

Position Purpose: Entity Core Solutions (ECS) is an ITG-F&RS group/pillar hosting various applications relating to General Accounting and Control tools as well as accounting manual input. Within ECS, ONYX and CONCORDE are BNPP Control tools dedicated to warrant the accounting balance of subledger postings and, hence, critical for the bank as BNPP needs to prove the accuracy of its accounts and balances.

The candidate will join the Control Tools setup and participate actively to the implementation of new/existing controls. The activities will mainly consist of analyzing, documenting and developing using BNPP standard technologies (around Java, Angular and Oracle Database). The candidate will be fully integrated in the project team spread across Mumbai & Paris. The position will require high reactivity and reporting skills in order to follow the required IT activities. The candidate will also need to use IT tools in the DevOps chain while guaranteeing high quality deliverables and compliance with established standards. The position will lead to developing knowledge on various financial processes around Control activities as well as BNPP information systems within a motivating environment.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Analyze and interpret requirement specifications received from Business Analysts

·       Liaise with BAs for correct understanding and implementation of specifications to meet the client/user’s expectations

·       Take charge of the development work according to the priorities defined by the Product Owner

·       Propose technical solutions adapted to business needs and develop technical requirements

·       Design and develop high quality IT solutions, in terms of maintainability, testability and performance

·       Participate in code reviews set up within the program

·       Participate in the testing phases (system, user acceptance, regression…) as required

·       Package & deploy on non-production environments and monitor production deployments

·       Provide L3 support to operations from a technical perspective

·       Implement best practices and coding standards

·       Work closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Participate in transversal and capability building efforts for the bank

·       Contribute to overall F&RS responsibilities on efficiency, control and development of solutions
