BA Central Trade – Job Description

Position Purpose |
To act as the primary bridge between Trade Finance business stakeholders and the technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into scalable technical solutions. The role focuses on optimizing trade operations, enhancing digital capabilities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of agile projects to improve the efficiency and compliance of Trade Finance products.

Responsibilities |
Direct Responsibilities
Contributing Responsibilities · Work closely with internal development, TCOE, IT security, architecture & other transversal teams · Review overall solution to see the best and optimized fit into the applications old and new · Work as a team player for topics spanning across projects, teams · Would be responsible for effective effort estimation. · Define Test strategies. · Contribute to Qualification and User acceptance test support and tracking. · Extend support to Users, Development, Qualification & Production support teams, · Setting up system parameters, configurations, scheduling processes, environment management, deployment & go live support. · Functional support for production issues / queries as required. · Functional and applicative training. · Functional documentation maintenance · Quality conscious and appropriate documentation complying with SDLC standards and agile project management practises. · Contributing to the continuous improvement of the BA knowledge base and documentation standards within GBIT · AI Adoption in BA process flow |
Technical & Behavioral Competencies |
The candidate should have strong functional skills and excellent communication skills.
Besides, the following skills are also expected: 5. Strategic Thinking, ability to look beyond the immediate ticket to see how a solution impacts the wider Trade Finance ecosystem. 6. Analytical, lateral thinker and result-oriented person |
Specific Qualifications: |
• Graduate from a top University - B.E./B.Tech, Graduates, Postgraduate |
Experience Level: |
• Around 5 – 7 years overall experience in managing Trade finance products. |

Technical Skills: § Domain expertise: Deep understanding of LC, Collection, Bank Guarantee, SWIFT MT & MX § Agile Tools: Proficiency in Jira and Confluence § AI Proficiency: Use AI in every stage of the SDLC to increase speed, accuracy, and the depth of their analysis and create artifacts quickly § SQL: Advanced querying for data analysis and troubleshooting § Modeling Tools: Proficiency in Visio or similar tools for process mapping § Data Visualization tools: Ability to create dashboard using advance excel, Power BI tools § API Knowledge: Understanding APIs for cross-application integration & ability to read basic JSON/XML formats for data exchange § Technical expertise: Working knowledge of Shell commands, Batch scripts, and Linux/Unix commands for log analysis and environment troubleshooting
