The Latin America region is a key market for BNP Paribas. While Brazil remains the largest economy in Latin America, other major countries in the region are significant contributors for the business and for long standing relations with clients.

Job Purpose: 

• Position within the Operations / Foreign Trade and Forex Exchange area, reporting to the Trade Finance Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review, analysis, and processing of Import and Export documentation
• Settlement of FX transactions, Guarantees and Letter of Credit.
• Correct communication and follow-up on topics related to their area
• Analyzes new regulations issued by the regulators (Ej. Argentina Central Bank) regarding products and process related with this area.

• Collaborate with the Business and Clients to support the decision-making process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of careers such as Foreign Trade/International Business, Business Administration, and/or similar fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Foreign Trade area and/or related fields.
• Knowledge of current Exchange Regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, as well as adapt to different challenges and changes.
• Being organized, detail-oriented, and having good document review skills
• Ability to execute tasks within tight deadlines.
• Skills for managing computer tools (Office package / Adobe Acrobat)
• Preferably with experience in banking operations (not required)
• Good interpersonal skills and team work
• Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proactive, organize and proper follow up ability
• English level: Advanced (required)
