About the job
- Data is a strategic asset for BNP Paribas. It plays a fundamental role in the analysis of the teams’ performance and evolution ultimately allowing to become more efficient and to contribute to the sustainability of the business model and the accurate selection of the bank’s assets. To be in control of data is crucial to enhance risk management, to reach right credit decisions and bring added value to the business
- Based in Lisbon, the Trainee will join a team of professionals who are known for their sectorial knowledge and support the team
Your Main Activities Are
- Input missing data on credit files for presentation to the Credit Committee
- Ensure accuracy of credit data
- Ensure consistency of data between different credit files
- Communicate with the CPM Credit Analyst Teams aiming to get updates on progress of credit files
- Ensure proper understanding of credit files to identify structured data to be inputted
- Create and maintain standard procedures for data input (user guides)
- Cooperate and communicate with the teams in charge of the golden source systems to ensure correct data in the source system
- Produce periodic reports based on data collected and captured, providing clear analysis and interpretation
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Management
- Detail oriented with interest in data
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Fluent in English
- Ability to collaborate and teamwork
- Efficient organizational and planning capacities
- Self-starter, good initiative and flexible
About the Team
- The Real Assets team includes a Coverage Relationship & Origination team, a Transaction & Execution team and a Credit Portfolio Management Team (CPM) spread across several countries serving the sector client in EMEA. These teams are split across Transportation (Shipping & Offshore, Aviation, Rail), Real Estate, Energy, Recourses & Infrastructure (ERI), Export, Leasing & Alternative Structuring. This transversality aims to provide a common training path, opportunities to explore other sectors, more efficiency and greater mobility
