About the job

The Business Management Team Manager manages a team of Business Management Officers within the CIB Front Office Portugal Department (Global Markets and Global Banking & FIC Portugal), in all topics requiring transversal coordination or consolidation of information such as, for example, HR, Facilities, Finance, community management, or the Governance of the concerned departments. Reporting to the CIB Front Office Chief Of Staff, this role is key in the department’s tranformation journey.

 

Your Main Activities Are

  • Coordinate deliverables and processes on Finance, HR, Operational Permanent Control, Business Continuity, and other topics related to the management of CIB Front Office Portugal
  • Identify best practices between Global Markets and Global Banking & FIC processes, harmonizing when possible and striving for mutualisation opportunities
  • Lead the local team in providing support to the leadership of the scope/department on daily activities or projects
  • Contribute to the yearly budget process, and the follow-up of the budget
  • Lead the development and own simple and complex data models,  for example in Excel, SharePoint etc., with the purpose of consolidating data, analysing them and reporting them in a structured and articulated way to support and inform business decisions.
  • Promote the development or maintenance of new data models
  • Contribute to the management of the internal communities, with the organization of events, management of internal sites, sharing of information via mailing list
  • Foster a Continuous Improvement mindset and lead in implementing continuous improvement or new projects that benefit and improve the management of the scope
  • Monitor, set clear team goals and objectives and their performance and report on metrics

 

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Administration or Marketing and Communications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role (Financial Analysis and Advisory, Project Management and Consulting and Business Management)
  • Fluency in English
  • Expert in MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to develop and leverage networks
  • Ability to anticipate business/ strategic evolution
  • Ability to manage a project
  • Ability to manage/facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee, training, etc
  • Adaptability
