Job Title: - AM -FXMMOTCDerivatives (Accounting control)

Department: Markets Operations (FXMM‑OTCD)

About Business line/Function: The FXMMOTC business line drives the origination, execution and post‑trade processing of all over‑the‑counter foreign‑exchange and money‑market transactions across the bank’s global client base. It delivers end‑to‑end trade lifecycle services—including confirmation, collateral management, DVP settlement and exception handling—while adhering to the highest standards of risk control, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Leveraging a unified technology platform and a worldwide network of clearing partners, the team ensures seamless, timely and secure settlement outcomes that underpin BNPParibass liquidity and pricing capabilities in the FX‑MM markets.

Position Purpose: The FXMM Derivative Back Office is responsible for the day-to-day settlement for Derivative products, Fixed Income products and Money Market. The Accounting Control and Investigation Officer is in charge of ensuring accounting reconciliations between transaction system data and accounting system.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FXMM & OTC Derivatives/Bonds Associate to join our BNP Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for 100% BAU working day-to-day operations of our Accounting Control business.

Practical knowledge and thorough understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, corporate actions) are required.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·  Justify breads between System Operation(SO) and accounting.

·  Contribute to the resolution of SO data anomalies.

·  Resolving accounting anomalies generated by SO.

·  Investigations and reporting on ITO demands.

·  Communicating with, and assisting, other operational departments where needed.

·  Reporting and communication to the impacted stakeholders and management, taking into account the local specificities and in a proactive way.

Specific Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.

·  Minimum4years in operations; at least2years in FXMM & OTCDerivatives.

·  Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles

·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

·  Fair knowledge of Fixed Income/Repo/Securities Lending,FXMM and OTC derivatives products & processes.
