Job Title:  Continuous Improvement Expert

Department: Business Excellence

About Business line/Function: 

Business Excellence Team within Operations is a Transversal Business Line playing a support role to Operations pertaining to Trade, Cash and Credit. The team mainly supports Business Operations by looking into Continuous Improvement Projects & Artificial Intelligence projects along with spreading the innovation culture

Position Purpose: 

Drive and institutionalize continuous‑improvement and artificial‑intelligence initiatives across Operations. Act as the Centre of expertise for CI/AI, guiding operational teams, establishing governance, and delivering transversal projects that enhance efficiency, data‑driven decision‑making and cost optimization

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       < Strategic Alignment – Partner with local and global leadership to capture current operating models, identify improvement opportunities and define AI‑enabled use‑cases that meet business objectives.]

·       Project Delivery – Lead end‑to‑end transversal projects (process redesign, automation, predictive analytics) from scoping, design and development through to testing, deployment and formal hand‑over to the owning operation.

·       Mentoring & Capability Building – Coach and up‑skill operations teams on Lean‑Six‑Sigma, Kaizen, Design‑Thinking and AI/ML fundamentals; develop training material, workshops and a community of practice.

·       Governance & Oversight – Establish a governance framework for CI/AI initiatives (stage‑gate reviews, KPI tracking, risk & compliance checks); maintain a central repository of project artefacts and lessons learned.

·       Continuous Improvement Culture – Promote a data‑driven, improvement mindset across Operations; organise hackathons, idea‑generation sessions and “quick‑win” sprints.

·       Stakeholder Management – Liaise with technical (Data Engineering, Architecture) and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into production environments.

v  12+ years of experience in continuous improvement or AI‑driven process change, preferably within banking or financial services.

Specific Qualifications:

v  Lean‑Six‑Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PMP or equivalent highly desirable
