Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·        The focus of the key responsibility areas is Front Office/Mid office/Investment Services.

·        Work closely with BNP PARIBAS NL heads and employees (Client Line, Client Delivery, and Client Development) to define operating models in line with clients’ needs and within BNP PARIBAS framework.

·        Translate desired changes into clear, supported and sustainable solutions

·        Develop and implement business solutions for (new) clients and/or internal on product, process and regulation.

Solving ad hoc questions

·        Give advice to Head of Business Solutions, clients and employees at all levels both for BNP PARIBAS NL as Global

·        Managing small projects.

·        Simcorp Dimension NL development and maintenance

·        Training of colleagues (change and first line support run teams) and knowledge sharing of experience and newly built expertise

·        Support on incident handling 2nd line to support run teams 

·        Cooperate with internal and external suppliers (i.e. ADM team Lisbon)

·        Monitor the marketplace/market practices and existing clients, identifying trends and potential opportunities for new product development/investment

·        Create prototypes in “laboratory mode” that bring an added value for BNP PARIBAS NL

·        Watch for regulatory changes & client demands on existing products

·        Signals improvements and get them in motion

·        Execution of the whole chain of the changes in a controlled manner from beginning to end

·        Thorough process analysis of new development of wished change 

·        Participate in migration and onboarding projects and enterprise-wide projects

·        Configuration of changes by doing it yourself or oversight of delivery partner

·        Create clear and comprehensive memo’s, advice, analysis and specs and handover documentation

·        Prepare business case documentation on the cost side as requested

 

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Creation of specifications with stakeholders, assessing the impact and advising the organization/stakeholders
  • Contributing to the management of operational risks and internal control
  • Attend industry forums and seminars to keep up to date

§  Being subject matter expert (SME) for specific products/services and assist in client and sales presentations

 

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Knowledge and understanding of SimCorp Dimension with regards to Front Office/Mid office/Investment Services.

Knowledge and understanding of the front office, mid office and investment services process

Knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations such as EMIR, MIFID and AIFMD.

Knowledge and understanding of relevant investment products

Knowledge of Dutch securities market practices and regulations

Strongly developed operational skills

To be proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting the role

Advanced MS Excel skills and good general IT skills (Digitally savvy)

In depth knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing
