Job Title: Test engineer

Department: Testing department, Cardif SSC, 

About Business line/Function: Be part of agile team delivering new projects, products and services for Cardif. We are collaborating with big players across Europe.

Position Purpose: Test engineer is part of an international agile team (developers, analysts, architect, scrum master, product owner and second tester), work is planned within the sprints(2 weeks).

The agile team works on development of new projects with Czech and international partners, maintains and improves already existing applications

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications 
• Create test plans and test cases 
• Execute all levels of QA tests and analyze results 
• Report bugs 
• Help troubleshoot issues related to test environments 
• Create and maintain testing documentation 
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle 
• Be owner of your test automation set: Develop test scripts for test automation 

Contributing Responsibilities

·         Help with release coordination (if needed)

·         Be ready to substitute anyone within squad

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Good communication skills 
• Good written and spoken English (C1 minimum) 
• Experience with at least one quality control supporting tool (e.g. MS Azure DevOps, Octane) 
• Experience with SQL – testing with DB 
• Experience with API testing tool (preferably Postman) 
• Experience with test automation: via Postman/Playwright 
• Experience with test driven development

Specific Qualifications:

5+ years of software testing experience
