About Business line/Function:

§  Securities Services is one of the Business within Corporate & Institutional Banking.

In 2025, Securities Services Chief Technical Officer (CTO) has launched a program to transform the IT production, QUEST (Quality, Efficiency, Stability). This transformation program, aims at improving the efficiency and quality of software delivery in order to support the business strategy. 

2S Agile Target Operating Model (ATOMe) is deployed in applications teams since beginning of 2019. 

2S have chosen to rely on IT Group DevOps Platforms to support Continuous Delivery of software. 

Now we have to complete Agile transformation, use the DevOps Platforms full capabilities and prepare teams to go to the Dedicated Cloud. Candidate will be part of the DevOps Accelerator team and will work closely with the Next Gen Production teams in Paris and Lisbon.

Position Purpose

Within the 2S IT Production, in Next Gen Production transformation team, the DevOps coach will be integrated into a multidisciplinary transformation team, working in project mode.

Candidate will contribute to the implementation of 2S IT Production's automation transformation. The DevOps craft for Production. The job has a global Agile / DEVOPS culture and know production practices. It needs an expert about CI/CD and especially ansible dev , and has knowledge about container. As an expert the role will be to upskill APS team members in term of new skills and new way of working. Candidate will be part of the APS digital automation team and be able to develop new ansible role or update existing role and make the promotion of them. Automations in APS apply a set of practices that help to automate processes between development team and APS team.

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

 

The Candidate  will be responsible to:

¡ Collaborate with Operation team for queries resolution.

¡ Key Application Production tasks are visible in the Tribe/Squads Backlog (e.g. JIRA/Rally) especially related to obsolescence management.

¡ Facilitate good Collaboration between the Tribe Lead, the IT Tribe Lead and the Application Production Lead.

¡ Backlog is prioritized collectively by the Product Owner, including all Production issues related to functional and NFRs.

¡ Manage stakeholder’s expectation.

¡ Queue Management - Tasks are estimated collaboratively for each sprint and quarters.

¡ Understand system architecture and provide long term solutions/permanent fix.

¡ Be Subject matter expert in areas of DevOps concepts.

Application Production roles use workflow tool for incident and problem management.

 

Contributing Responsibilities

¡ Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.

¡ Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines

¡ Supervise, Monitor, Control and Co-ordinate all activities in the department.
