About the Graduates' Programme : 

The BNP Paribas Graduates’ Programme is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates who are eager to start a career in the dynamic world of Banking and Finance. The Graduates’ Programme 2025 starts on 1 September.

We are recruiting one Graduate to integrate the Exchange Traded Solutions (ETS) Team, within the Global Markets Front Office Business Area.

 

About the Business Area: 

 
Global Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), delivering solutions across asset classes, and industry-leading services for clients including Institutional, corporate, private banks and retail distribution networks. Our Portugal Platform (Porto and Lisbon) is a major HUB in Europe and certainly unique in the country by its size and its scope of activity, with all Front Office roles present (Trading, Sales, Research, Structuring, Quant & Engineering, Business Dev and Support, Marketing & Client Support, Risk Management, Data Analytics and Machine Learning…). About the Team: 

Exchange Traded Solutions (ETS) is an entity of the Global Markets division of BNP Paribas, active with retail and private clients in various countries in Europe. It offers all day long a contribution on exchange of 400 000 standardized products on more than 1,000 single stocks & indices and the most traded Commodities and FX pairs. The Portugal platform provides direct support to different European Sales hubs, responsible for covering the European markets. 

 

About the ETS Graduate’ Role: 

During the first year, the Graduate will complete one 6-month rotation in the ETS Sales Team, followed by a second 6-month rotation in the Trading ETS Team. 

Programme Rotation 1 – ETS Sales 

  • Performing daily standard issuances of ETS products
  • Production and analysis of important KPI metrics (as competitive or profitability analysis), regularly monitoring of competitors and E-broker activity
  • Supervision of our market making activity, the activity linked to it (interaction with the Trading Teams, IT Teams, Digital Marketing, Middle Office and others), monitoring the fees and provision of the team, among others
  • Helping with on-going developments and automation of routines including calibration of the algorithm based on feedback received

 

Programme Rotation 2 – ETS Trading 

  • Contributing to various reports on risk and profitability analysis of the business
  • Getting involved in the day-to-day business through numerous tasks such as the supervision of competitors’ prices, validation of corporate action adjustments, the monitoring of our automations (hedging tool, parameterization tool, volatility fitter, algorithms and others
  • Helping with on-going developments and research on our internal pricing systems
  • Provide direct support to the local Trading business

 
After completing the 2 rotations, in September 2026, the Graduate will integrate the ETS Sales Team in Portugal and join a new business segment which manages our International Product Range (IPR). The IPR is a recently added business segment publicly offering ETP in multiple European countries. 

 

About the Graduate’ Profile and Skills: 

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering
  • Interest in Financial Markets
  • Knowledge in Derivatives
  • Knowledge in Excel; Python is considered a plus
  • Knowledge in data-visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Multi-tasking skills combined with high level of attention to detail; ability to work under pressure; methodological skills and innovative mind-set & drive
  • Excellent fluency in English
  • Availability for a full-time permanent position from 1 September 2025
  • Maximum of 2 years of working experience (including internships)
