We are Finance & Risk Solutions (FRS), a specialized organization within the BNP Paribas IT Group. Our Iberian hub in Madrid, Lisbon, and Porto aligns IT programs with Finance and Risk strategies. We provide the expertise needed to handle major regulatory reforms, ESG commitments, and the shift toward cloud technologies.
🎯 MISSION
As an IT Project Owner – Business Analyst, you will lead the delivery of Local Regulatory Reporting (LRR) solutions. You will combine end-to-end project management with deep analytical design to ensure our systems meet current and future business needs. Your role is to translate strategic finance objectives into technical reality.
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the full project lifecycle, defining scope, budgets, and resources for transversal IT projects.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.
- Coordinate internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the defect backlog to ensure quality.
- Act as the primary link between Finance business units and the IT organization.
💡 WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or an Engineering degree with finance knowledge.
- Over 3 years of experience in Finance or Project Management within the banking sector.
- Proven experience implementing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Fluent English (B2 minimum); French knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Jira (or similar Agile tools).
- Experience as a BA in Finance systems or accounting interfaces (preferred).
- Ability to simplify complex data and interact with different hierarchical levels.
