Job Title: Director : Head – Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)  operations

Department: TPRM

About Business line/Function: CIB Industrialization

Position Purpose: 

Head – Operations role in CIB TPRM SSC (Shared Service Center) is a critical role with primary responsibility of,

 Ensuring that all the services globally for CIB with external vendors (purchasing and outsourcing) are comprehensively evaluated for underlying risks in line with CIB & Group policies & Procedures

 Ensuring that right set of controls are designed (in line with global Target operating model requirements) for day-to-day operations of CIB TPRM SSC and ensure that they are effective in normal course of business

 Defining & maintaining important policies and procedures applicable for CIB TPRM

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

 Collaborate with global stakeholders across regions to map out existing TPRM processes, issues gaps etc. Facilitate seamless migration to Target Operating model.

 Design an efficient process and robust control environment for TPRM Target operating model activities.

 Build, Mentor and lead an org. of TPRM SMEs. Create culture of knowledge sharing, flawless execution and continuous improvement.

 Monitor and Report KRIs / KPIs for CIB TPRM SSC & any other periodic / ad-hoc management reports

 Adapt to ongoing change management protocol to amend / improve existing processes and corresponding changes in strategic tools

 Partner with Global teams / stakeholders to build and execute initiatives / projects to remediate critical controls gaps in TPRM.

 Manage relationships & partner with heads of various SME groups in CIB to enhance TPRM workflows

 Routine engagement with TPRM leadership team to promote a strong operational controls culture

 Leads project / virtual teams as required for ad hoc onboarding related projects

 Define and maintain procedures applicable for CIB TPRM SSC

 

Contributing Responsibilities

 Study & provide feedback on the Group & CIB Policies & guidelines related to Outsourcing & third-party risk management when revised / enhanced

 Participate / lead local initiatives at BNPP ISPL regarding various workstreams like risk & controls, innovation, diversity & inclusion, CSR etc. 

 During IG inspections, review & provide required evidences, responses, clarifications on CIB TPRM SSC procedures & BAU operations

Experience required: 15+ years of work experience in the Financial Industry with relevant Risk Management expertise

 

Education Level: Master’s degree or Equivalent
