Position Purpose | ||||||||
- Provide functional and technical application management for self-operated, partially or fully outsourced IT applications - Enable the safe and stable operation of the respective applications - Take over the technical management in context of his/her responsibility for the application or a service | ||||||||
Responsibilities | ||||||||
Direct Responsibilities - Ensure 2nd and 3rd level support for application-related requests from business and IT departments - Efficient implementation of incident and problem management using internal and external ticketing tools and processes provided for this purpose - Handle requests, incidents, problems & changes and other error situations with internal and external colleagues involved, as well as the follow-up of the identified corrective or solution/fixing measures - Independent integration and management of delivered program or system changes, both for small-scale requirements and projects - Implementation of technical requirements in IT concepts and/or technical descriptions in the context of the existing application landscape or new IT systems to be created - Independent optimization, further development and obsolescence avoidance of supervised systems or processes and their technology stacks
Contributing Responsibilities - Ensure the proper functions of the applications, their maintenance and modernization - Use methods to optimize and increase efficiency - Advise and support departments, including in the preparation of requirements/concepts or other activities, feasibility analyses and implementation strategies - Conception and participation in the documentation of the maintained systems - Complete monitoring of new application versions or new features from conception, development to commissioning based on business needs - Conception, creation and implementation or automation and documentation of tests
