About Business line/Function:

Arval is car renting company with Services, for professional entities and more recently, opened to retail market. Serving 30 countries with the goal to be the best in class both  for customer satisfaction and innovation (Partnership, new technologies, etc…)

One IT is the IT department from the company.  Finance & Risk Tribe is in charge of developing and maintaining all the IT assets in relationship with Finance and Risk activity from the company. It is composed of 3 Products: Finance (2 Squads: Accounting system for G4 and Accounting system for Dynamos countries), Securitization, Billing and Financial reporting (2 squads: Securitization and Billing & Financial Reporting) and Transversal Platforms (2 squads: EDM-Electronic documents and e-Signature, and International Systems managing the Credit collections, the accounting interpretation and the Group Consolidations.

Position Purpose

The engineer/developer is working closely with the team members and business teams to develop features according to a requirement. 

Must ensure that deliverables are aligned with best practices and monitor what has been promoted on higher environments. 

Production or tests environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, …) 

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive and monitor production health using tools like Dynatrace, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to best practices across Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
  • Manage key operational events including Datacenter Migrations, Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, Production Migrations and Environment upgrades.
  • Driving & reporting Vulnerability, Obsolescence, patch management of the environments within the ARVAL landscape
  • Develop and maintain production reporting, providing actionable insights and clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Ensure SOD, EOD, EOM, EOY processes are managed as per the standard operating Procedures
  • Foster automation, innovation, and continuous improvement in production activities aligned with production group strategies

 

Direct Responsibilities

 

  • Design, Implement & Manage CyberArk PAS solution for Multiple Clients
  • Install, configure, Migrate, Manage and Troubleshoot CyberArk Vault, DR, BACKUP, PVWA,
  • PSM & PSMP components of CyberArk PAS suite. (version 12.6 to 14)
  • Upgrade vault from 12.6 to 14.
  • Install, Configure, Manage and Troubleshoot CyberArk Credential provider & Central

Credential Provider.

  • Integrate CyberArk with LDAP Directory, SMTP, SAML, SIEM & Monitoring Tools.
  • Manage Windows & Linux server patches of CyberArk PAS suite.
  • Manage & update user Accounts, policies, safes of the CyberArk.
  • Bulk Accounts upload, reconciliation, verification & update using PowerShell script.
  • Generate CyberArk Activity logs based on the Owners request.
  • Plan & Perform CyberArk Yearly DR Drill.
  • Assist CyberArk Risk Assessment, Internal/External Audit requirements. 

 

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Incident contribution. Assist the incident management team and be first point of contact for Arval network related incident.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies – 

  • Be autonomous on the asset (Senior to expert level) and motivated on the daily tasks. 
  • Be an active member of the squad (often multi-technologies).  
  • Be proactive by raising alerts when it’s flagged, try to understand the global context and suggest how to solve an issue (without focusing only on their subpart). it will also help to understand better the rest of the team (who will not necessarily work on the same tool) 
  • Be able to provide proofs that developments are matching to the requirement (tests cases) 
  • Have proper communication with the Business. (English language) 
  • Have some knowledge regarding deployment/versioning tools (Ansible, Refapp …) 
  • Have some knowledge on project tracking software (Jira, Snow, Tufin…) 
  • Have some knowledge regarding monitoring tools (Dynatrace, …) 
  • Provide technical expertise to suggest optimization and technical enhancements
