Position Purpose: To process, monitor and control transaction processing for Remittance & Payments preprocessing of BNPP WITH THE OBJECTIVE to facilitate smooth functioning of operations while meeting the Operations Objectives of BNPPISPL for all the sites handled.

Responsibilities: 

Direct Responsibilities

The Cash Processing Officer is responsible for processing instructions and managing repairs regarding all cash flows (external payments, incomings, Book to Book and Cross Border Book to Book), across several Bank locations, using various cash management systems.

Contributing Responsibilities

·         Focus on providing solutions and operational / market assistance, provide accurate and useful operational insight to internal clients and teams.

·         Process and repair payment instructions (incoming and outgoing).

·         Follow the activity closely, i.e. monitoring volumes evolution, workloads, recurring issues and present solutions as well as ideas for improvement.

·         Support management in all operational activities and on the transversal projects when required.

·         Participate actively in all projects developed within the Department and BNPP Portugal.

·         Monitor, report and mitigate the operational risk for all cases that the team is involved.

·         Provide suggestions to improve processes and procedures.
