Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Corporate Actions & Index Tracking

Location: 525 Washington Blvd, 7th Floor, Jersey City, NJ 07310

 

 

Duties: Manage equity indices in firm's internal systems for trading and create index simulations for trading. Forecast trading impact due to corporate actions on constituents of bank licensed indices. Alert Front Office Trading and Middle Booking teams of all current and forecasted corporate actions. Ensure Corporate Actions work flow feed correctly in proprietary tools and trading positions are adjusted correctly in systems. Maintain cash dividends in all bank’s proprietary booking systems. Work with IT to develop index composition upload scripts to automate index constituents uploads into BNPP systems. Manage projects designed to improve daily trading operations. Automate and innovate processes that are currently manual and may be automated. *Telecommuting permitted 50%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc. office in Jersey City, NJ..

 

SALARY$124,992.00 USD to $135,000.00 USD/ year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Will accept a Bachelor’s degree equivalent based on combination of degrees where determined to be equivalent to a US Bachelor’s degree by a qualified credential evaluation services) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with Bachelor's (OR 2 years with Master's) in the financial industry. Must have one (1) year of experience with the following: Excel advanced functions including VBA; analyzing, processing, and adjusting risk of corporate actions data; experience with at least one of the following equity indices: MSCI, S&P Dow Jones, or FTSE Russell ; corporate actions and impact to shareholders in a financial institution; trade capture, trade validation, query, and queue management; booking secondary events and deals, maintaining various strategy booking types, and performing quarterly/monthly expiry in the books; and migration of trading processes between overseas offices within multinational banking environment.
