Swiss IT Production
In the context of data quality process of Switzerland IT Production, we are looking for an application or infrastructure engineer having extensive experience over CMDB area and asset management.
The CMDB and Production Data Expert is responsible of exhaustivity and quality of production inventories, as well as the feeding of the Swiss CMDB.
The role is focused on Swiss IT Production data, mostly provided by infrastructure teams.
The role requires good communication capacity to handle all topics with many stakeholders (local infrastructure teams, Architecture, Application owners, Group technical teams for the CMDB management, and many others).
The role has both responsibility for technical maintenance of the solution and functional design (CMDB Modelling for instance)

 

ABOUT THE JOB
 
MISSION

The candidate will reports to the DATA IT Team Manager. Team is part of Swiss Infrastructures organization.
He/she will interacts with :
  • Their colleagues when participating to the continuous improvement of the team.
  • The Group Product owners of various tools including CMDB, inventory tools or Discovery among others.
  • The Swiss Project Governance team who is responsible of application repository. Applications are not in the scope as such, but the relation between infrastructures and applications is)
  • Applications owners to manage the links between infrastructure components and applications.
  • All CMDB or Inventories consumers, which include a wide variety of profiles, like continuity teams, security or IT Business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage runtime operations, confirming that scheduled jobs execute correctly and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor and improve data quality of inventories through daily reporting and corrective actions.
  • Design and implement functional and technical enhancements, including CMDB modeling and script development.
  • Produce quarterly quality indicators and customized reports for continuity, security, and business teams.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and propose process improvements to boost efficiency.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
 

Experience

Experience working with CMDB and inventory management
Having experience as IT production specialist or application specialist would be a plus.
An ITIL certification would be a plus

  • Graph Database usage (Neo4J, Cypher language) – Beginner

  • Good adaptation capacity, dealing with multiple topics, and jumping from one to the other depending on changing priorities.

Languages

  • English – Fluent
  • French – Operational (would be a plus)
