The position at a glance


 The Finance transformation project manager is part of the Finance COO team responsible of the Finance processes transformation linked to OFS roll out project (Change of Finance General Ledger).

 

In detail

 

The team members are responsible of the following activities:

  • Identify tasks and processes currently performed by Finance users and link them to the standard finance taxonomy.
  • Work with OFS transformation to highlight processes that will be impacted by the OFS roll out detailing the change and/or transformation required to align to the Target Operating Model in link with Finance Academy.
  • Coordinate with Finance Change Management the implementation of the change required for each transformation.
  • Work with Finance users to identify their workload impact, reallocate tasks to the proper team and ensure efficiencies are met.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with users. Coordinate with Finance project teams on requirements and deliveries. Lead committees at management level to highlight changes required as well as obtain decisions and validations.


Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday. 

 

 

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed


  • Bachelors in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in audit, accounting or change & solutions in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of English is required. *
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including active listening, with the ability to identify and implement change to different stakeholders from users to management.
  • Deliver on time or being able to raise alerts with enough anticipation highlighting facts and proposing remediation actions to ease management decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Professional working proficiency in English language is required.
