Position Purpose

The Business Management team is responsible for strategy and planning to align the business operations for the Finance & Risk Department. The BM team helps to steer key initiatives within the department. The role of the business manager is dynamic and can vary day to day, and needs to be prioritized basis the business requirements. This role within the Finance Risk Solution function , will require support the HOD on the various business needs. You will also require to support the international scope initiatives. You will be required to work closely with the regional & functional heads on topics including Planning & Analysis, Headcount and Cost management, Legal & Contracts and Compliance. The roles is based in Mumbai India.

 

Responsibilities

Finance & Headcount Tracking:

 

·       Support the Finance & Risk Solutions, senior management team in India to steer growth and business priorities

·       Produce Finance and strategic presentations for management review and analysis.

·       Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business requirements.

·       Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities. Supporting the teams on desk and infrastructure control areas across India geographical regions.

·       Create and maintaining Governance structure across the department. Ensuring periodic review basis the contracts

·       Create senior management deck to enable reviews and discussion.

·        Work on the department budget – financial & forecast, partnering with the local finance teams and regional and global stakeholders.

·       Provide high responsive behaviour to execute ad-hoc request related to projects, and business analysis

·       Monitor cost structures, identify efficiencies, derive regional cost structure & perform simulation

·       Prepare & provide Information to finance team related to Quarterly billing activity.

 


Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

    Proven experience on technical tools for functional investigation, MS Office/ Power BI best practices associated.

   Quick learner, self-initiative and good team player

    Sense of ownership to tasks assigned and commit to deadlines under pressure

    Analytical, lateral thinker, attentive to details and result-oriented person

    Fluency in English (verbal/written) and with good communication & interpersonal skills

Specific Qualifications 

Qualifications and Experiences:

         Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certifications 
(e.g., MBA, CA, CFA, PMP) are a plus.

         Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or any other related subjects

         Experiences in business management, or PMO role

         8+ yrs of experience on PMO, Business Management role, working in a GCC setup

Other Preferred Competencies (not mandatory):

         Scrum Master, Agile or other related project certificates
