Job Title: Head– Global Traditional Trade Organization
Department: GTTO / GTFO
About Business line/Function: Global Trade Operations (GTO) is an entity within CIB ITO Global Banking Operations that serves Trade Finance Operations on behalf of the Group. Its scope of intervention is global, on all sites that propose to operate Trade Finance transactions, i.e., in Domestic Core Businesses (FRB, Fortis, BGL, BNL) as in the CIB regions and International Retail Banking (IRB).
Within GTO, the Global Traditional Trade Organization team (GTTO) Act as an overall coordinator to support the global transformation on Traditional Trade Operations for GTO and its partners leveraging on extended team as one team. Thus, GTTO carries out projects around process optimization, Operating Model, and IT Assets for traditional trade products (Letters of Credit, International Guarantees).
Position Purpose: As Head of GTTO India, your role consists in managing GTTO India team, securing the delivery of transformation initiatives in your scope, as well as supporting efficient and sustainable adoption of changes while aligning with stakeholder’s expectations and business requirements.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
To deploy a common and business tool with all operational set-ups and provide our clients with Digital Banking capabilities to communicate with the bank.
- Managing GTTO India team:
- Monitor the available resources (people, budget, skills) and allocate them to projects accordingly.
- Define and allocate team / individual objectives and support their successful delivery.
- Lead team recruitments and evaluations.
- Steer project portfolio, manage risks, manage budget, report to relevant stakeholders / governances.
- Lead directly or via delegation transformation projects within the GTTO team.
- Ensure alignment with global strategic objectives, set the correct governance and identify key stakeholders.
- Design and implement a feasible roadmap, taking into account key stakeholders’ requirements and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Define a structured management approach to drive adoption and minimize disruptions.
- Provide regular follow-up of the project, identifying milestones, deadlines, responsibilities and proactively identifying risks and dependencies, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
- Implement best-in-class project management methodologies and governance, following all implementation stages until go-live and stabilization.
- Steer and deliver Budget trajectories under your responsibility.
- Ensure consistency with the other GTO and/or GTTO initiatives in partnership with all central / regional and local stakeholders (e.g. Business, IT, Functions, …).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency and coordinated execution across all projects and streams.

An appetite for AI and other new technologies (blockchain, RPA/RDA, OCR, Data analytics, etc.) is a plus.

Specific Qualifications:
- Proven track record in managing complex international projects from scoping to implementation, bridging between different regions, departments, and transformation areas (Orga, Process, IT)
- Capacity to navigate uncertain environments while securing delivery and stakeholders continuous engagement and support.
- Proven track record as successful team manager
- Knowledge of BNP Paribas organization and understanding of its complex ecosystem is a plus.
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
