Job Title: Java Bigdata Angular Developer Optima
Department: FR&S / RDS
About Business line/Function: ITG
Position Purpose:
Risk Dedicated Solutions (RDS) is an ITG-FR&S department hosting various applications relating to RISK monitoring, Credit Risk, Stress Testing and Capital Calculation.
Within RDS: Optima is a BNPP RISK tool dedicated to Regulatory Capital calculations RWA, Large Exposures LEXP and Provisions IFRS9 calculations and provide simulation capabilities. OSC/IHM is Optima supervision console for supervise and manage runs.
The candidate will join ITG-FRS-RDS and participate actively to Big data and Java/Angular enhancements via new developments and RUN management/monitoring. The activity will mainly consist in analyzing, costing, developing, documenting and technical assistance.
The position is a Java Bigdata one requiring skills on JAVA, Angular, and Oracle PL SQL with an additional understanding on Big data environment. The position will lead to develop knowledge on various financial and credit risk topics as well as BNPP information system within a motivating environment.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Design and develop the Apache Spark jobs in Java.
· Involve in Java development activities on Oracle Packages into Java Big data migrations.
· Design and develop front end components in Angular and corresponding backend components with Spring boot.
· Analyze and interpret requirement specifications received from Business analysts and Jira tickets.
· Participate with BA to ensure correct understanding and implementation of specifications
· Propose technical solutions adapted to the business needs (Contribute to technical requirements writings)
· Design and develop IT solutions based on the specifications received
· Implementation of best practices and coding standards.
· Participate in the testing support (system, user acceptance, regression…)
· Provide technical support to Business analysts and project team
· Packaging and deployment of non-production environments using Devops tools
· Working closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders (and particularly Applications Managers) jointly providing high quality deliverables
· Collaborating with Production contacts
· Reporting to central teams on a regular basis (KPIs, Roadmap follow-up, incident/bugs tracking, budget consumption)

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Looking for a software developer with about 5 years of hands‑on experience who can immediately work with Java 8/J2EE (Spring Boot, JPA, Maven, JUnit), Angular 17+ for the front‑end, and Oracle PL/SQL; experience with big‑data tools such as Apache Spark, Oozie, or Hive is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins, enforcing code quality with Sonar, and writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests while working in an Agile environment. We value teamwork, adaptability, a results‑driven attitude, and good listening and communication skills.

Bachelor in Eng./ B-Tech/ MCA (Equivalent)
