Job Title: AVP -EQD Trade Support
Department: Markets Operations ( FXMM‑OTCD)
About Business line/Function: The FX MM OTC business line drives the origination, execution and post‑trade processing of all over‑the‑counter foreign‑exchange and money‑market transactions across the bank’s global client base. It delivers end‑to‑end trade lifecycle services—including confirmation, collateral management, DVP settlement and exception handling—while adhering to the highest standards of risk control, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Leveraging a unified technology platform and a worldwide network of clearing partners, the team ensures seamless, timely and secure settlement outcomes that underpin BNP Paribas’s liquidity and pricing capabilities in the FX‑MM markets.
Position Purpose:
The EQD trade support is one of the main contributors of the bank in terms of ensuring the accuracy of the transaction initiated by the trading after their execution. In his very specific position in the operation chain the trade support will liaise with several teams such as FO, documentation, settlement BO, collateral, PnL reporting factory, anti-fraud, compliance, IT, accounting etc
Our mandate is to transform the post execution chain into a safer process with a harmonized and industrialized platform by increasing efficiency and reducing the operation risk. Our mandate is also driven by the satisfaction of our external and internal clients

· Procedures for Trade Support scope.
· Main point of contact for the Business and Operations on new initiatives, structures, projects, production issues and incidents.
· Follow up on projects and new business initiative, audit and transformation initiatives related to the Trade Support
· Follow up on the new controls to put in place on the FO business initiatives and their materialization under clear writing procedure and Orus daily control and sign off.
· Build a diverse and competent team able to meet the challenges of supporting a complex and very specific growing business.
· Contributes to recruitment, retention and development of staff.
· Undertaking the appraisal process and recommendation for compensation of staff
· Ensures high levels of ethics and professionalism are maintained both personally and in the team.
· Monitor closely your team performance by setting up frequent reviews, clear objectives and expectations and follow up on results.
· Use your managerial skills to lead the team towards the top and ensure a strong and stable work environment.
· Plan delegation by identifying tasks, which can be delegated according to the team member skillset.
· Set up clear objectives for your team and follow up on them. Prioritize production and projects according to your team capacity to maximize productivity and minimize risks.
· Provide your team with constructive feedback when needed to avoid conflicts and issues within the team.
· Organize cross training within your team and cross-trade support when relevant.
· Strong appreciation and value of STP and of IT solutions to reduce processing and improve controls

Specific Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or related field.
· Minimum 10 years in operations; at least 2 years in Product control
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
