Your daily responsibilities

You will join the Global Markets division in New York, at the heart of the Group’s market activities. The Prime Brokerage Risk team plays a key role in overseeing and anticipating risks related to our institutional clients.

On a daily basis, you will:

• Contribute to the monitoring of counterparty risk on Prime Brokerage client portfolios.
• Support the development of Risk projects related to margin systems, dataflow validation and risk analysis tools.
• Design and produce internal and external reporting for clients and management teams.
• Prepare analyses required for the methodological presentation of margins and the communication of risks to clients.
• Conduct in‑depth analyses of existing or prospective client portfolios to identify potential risks.

As a Risk Analyst, you will join the Prime Brokerage Risk team based in New York.

The team is composed of 11 colleagues and ensures the daily monitoring of counterparty risk linked to Prime Brokerage activities.

You will work in a stimulating international environment, collaborating with trading teams, quantitative analysts, data specialists and other transversal departments.

This position is an excellent entry point into Risk Management roles within a market environment.

You will develop solid expertise in risk analysis across several asset classes: equities, bonds, convertible bonds, options and futures.

You will also strengthen your analytical skills in both market risk and counterparty credit risk.

Through your active participation in strategic projects, you will quickly develop competencies in project management, transversal collaboration and the use of advanced analytical tools.

In the medium term, you may grow toward positions such as Risk Officer, Quantitative Analyst, or other roles within the Group’s market activities.

And the compensation?

Defined by ministerial decree, the V.I.E package is paid monthly and includes:

• A common allowance, identical for all V.I.E participants
• A geographical allowance, varying according to the destination country (and sometimes the city). This allowance is recalculated quarterly.

You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school or university, or equivalent academic background, and ideally have previous experience in risk analysis, asset management, market finance or risk control (including internships or apprenticeships).

You are fluent in English and highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
