About this opportunity
We are looking for an Analyst to the Nordic FIC team to support our Relationship Managers (RMs) in the management and development of relationships with Nordic Financial Institutions.
The focus of the FIC team in the Nordics is to develop, maintain and drive new business opportunities across all BNPP divisions and products in a risk-aware manner. The team today is covering the Nordic countries out of Stockholm with a total of 5 team members and in addition a broad team of stakeholders.
The role is located in Stockholm and the role is reporting to one of the Co-Heads of Financial Institutions, Nordic Region.
The Role
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Relationship Managers and KYC team in their daily tasks linked to the portfolio of clients covered by the team. Key responsibilities include:
- Client planning & development: Support the Relationship Managers in the development and management of client relationships across all five FIC sectors. This includes support for client action plans, client/meeting memos, maintaining client and deal-related CRM data, client/opportunity analysis, and client presentations, as well as ongoing client and industry awareness and intel
- Business planning & development: Support the FIC team in driving the Nordic FIC business plan, including budgeting, revenue reporting, business analysis and development across business lines and internal stakeholders
- Risk & KYC: Support in the management of the credit, risk and KYC processes. This includes working with credit analysts to ensure Annual Reviews and transaction requests are processed in a timely manner and taking lead on Credit Committee (CC) presentations where appropriate, and ensuring that KYCs are in place and up to date for all clients are in scope together with the central FIC KYC team. You also support the client-lifecycle tasks including onboarding/offboarding, engagement with the business and legal for trading-related documentation, risk and operational processes
Your Profile
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Relationship Managers and KYC team in their daily tasks linked to the portfolio of clients covered by the team. Key responsibilities include:
- You hold a relevant master’s degree with strong academic results and have 1-2 years of working experience in Banking. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and particularly relevant work experience or candidates with CFA will also be considered
- You are curious, positive, have an analytical mindset and a real interest in the financial markets, and enjoy having diverse working day including numerical and administrative tasks
- You have strong Microsoft office skills and either proficient with AI tools, or strong interest in developing a strong skillset in relevant and emerging AI tools to efficiently support and improve processes and build efficiencies
- You appreciate working on projects with colleagues from different backgrounds and countries where you will have the opportunity to challenge your analytical skills, working agility and resilience
- You have excellent communication skills in English and elementary skills in Swedish (or any other Scandinavian language)
