Position Purpose 

As “Equus Tribe Lead” *, you will be part of a) the Equus Tribe international team composed by more than 130 people, working for the Equus Tribe across four countries, and b) Arval Tech Centre India (ATCI) Leadership team. 

“Equus Tribe” * is an IT department/Tribe which develops and deploys mainly three tools 

  • a Core Leasing System solution called Drive in the G4 (France, Italy, Spain, UK) 
  • a Flex solution called MonOffre in the G4 (France, Italy, Spain, UK) 
  • an insurance solution called Cleva (software package) in Arval France

In this context, you will be the Arval Tech Centre point of contact of Equus in India with the ambition to identify and manage the best staffing to support the tribe activities. To do this, in collaboration with ATCI management office, you will actively collaborate with the tribe Managers. 

You will use your motivation on the management and your ability to collaborate to ensure that all Equus members get the required means and skills to achieve the objectives of the team and follow the internal processes. You will also infuse the team spirit, make people growing and develop their skills.

You will adjust the setup of the resources, to fit with the Arval challenges, be in conformity with ISPL guidelines and ATCI governance, and actively participate in making tribe practices being more innovative, efficient and compliant with internal expectations of quality level.

Responsibilities 

 

 

Direct Responsibilities 

  • Staffing 
  • Collect the Equus sourcing needs (mainly Engineers) 
  • Build and maintain the sourcing plan / roadmap 
  • Manage resources recruitment and departure 
  • Lead the qualification of candidates and their interview 
  • Manage the On-boarding & the Off-boarding of people 
  • Drive all required logistic to ensure that the Tribe people have the required means to work 
  • Provide a clear vision of the organisation to the new commers so that they understand the context in which they work 
  • Organise the required knowledge transfer for the Tribe people 
  • Alert on any sourcing event impacting the Tribe activity  
  • Identify suitable options to solve difficulties encountered with the local staffing 

 

  • Internal People Management 
  • Arval Tech Center India point of contact for the Tribe resources (manage the absences (holidays, sickness), the home working, etc.)  
  • Define people objectives and perform evaluation in line with the Head of Equus Tribe. 
  • Maintain the skill-matrix 
  • Identify potential skills upgrade required and allocate suitable training session to the people 
  • Make the link with the local HR 

 

  • Suppliers Management 
  • Manage the relation with the external suppliers  
  • Ensure that the invoices received are in line with the expectations 
  • Identify potential lack of skills and organise suitable upgrade with the supplier 

 

  • Transversal activities 
  • Assist the Head of Equus Tribe in the implementation of the internal organisation  
  • Ensure a proper update of the internal tools to follow people activities and presence 
  • Ensure that the Equus people know and understand Equus practices   
  • Share a regular status of the staffing to the Head of Equus 
  • Contribute to the improvement of the Equus processes and KPIs 
  • Ensure that the Tribe people apply Equus practices   

 

 

Contributing Responsibilities 

  • ATCI – Equus tribe lead  
  • Assist the Head of ATCI in the annual appraisal & CRP exercise for Equus Tribe members 
  • Assist the Head of ATCI in preparing, following up and adjusting the budget relevant to Equus 
  • Accompany the Head of ATCI in the discussions & ad-hoc committees with partners for Equus 
  • Take part in other transversal ATCI activities, animation and events 
  • Oversee preparing and conducting any committees onshore. Define & maintain necessary KPIs 
  • Ensure culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Tribe  
  • Ensure collaboration & interaction with other Tribes of ATCI
