YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL
Do you want to help BNP Paribas Fortis and their customers to fight fraud? Then join the Fraud Management & Investigation team, the central hub in Brussels which manages this crucial role for the entire bank.
The department Fraud Management & Investigation (FMI) is the central first line team within BNP Paribas Fortis responsible for the fight against external and internal fraud. The team closely collaborates with other stakeholders such as the involved Tribes, the business lines, second line functions such as Risk,Compliance, BNP Paribas Group, external parties,….
Fraud Management & Investigation is active in all components of the anti-fraud value chain:
- Fraud Prevention: via specialized advising on processes, on tools and by creating & advising on content for communication & awareness purposes
- Fraud Detection & Reporting: by devising dedicated fraud scenario’s and by establishing the necessary dashboards & reporting for the stakeholders
- External Fraud Investigations: Via a team of specialized external fraud analysts
- Internal Fraud Investigations: Via a team of specialized internal fraud analysts
- Dispute & Fraud Settlement: Via a team handling settlements with customers related to fraud cases
AND IN DETAIL
As Senior Advisor in the Fraud Management & Investigation Team, you are guaranteed to have a varied, pivotal and most importantly an exciting and fulfilling role. You will:
- Be advising the Head of Fraud Management & Investigation on all fraud related matters
- Be involved in major fraud fighting projects (at Group level, at local level, deriving from regulatory requirements,)
- Help in defining, implementing and monitoring the long-term anti-fraud strategy of the bank
- Be a proud member of and work actively with all the other members of the Fraud Management & Investigation management team
- Work together with and be a convinced partner in crime of our stakeholders, building together a strong anti-fraud environment within BNP Paribas Fortis
- Liaise closely with all members of the Fraud Management & Investigation team, to foster an open, efficient and fun working environment

- Good knowledge of the standard software packages & openness to get acquainted with dedicated anti-fraud tools.
- Fluency written & oral in Dutch, French, English
