About Business line/Function:

BNP Paribas IT Group Production is in charge to provide infrastructure, development and production support services to all IT applications used worldwide by all business lines. It encompasses a great variety of technologies and infrastructures. It is spanning from legacy systems to cutting edge Cloud technologies.

Furthermore, BNP Paribas IT Group Production, is being organized in several divisions.  One of which is “Open Cloud Platform”, and it is responsible to provide to all IT groupwide and centrally managed digital platforms. The managed platforms are as today: the API Management, Robotics, Tests and DevSecOps platforms.

This division is leveraging developer centric tools and frameworks, as to provide standardized IT services to business lines, developers and production engineers of the Group. Some of those services having very strong SLA: high availability to always-on service level, High throughput (billion calls a month), with high grade security level (secret to confidential).

Position Purpose

In a context of automation and quality improvement, IT Group Production decided to strengthen the digitalization of its offerings for IT applications. 

Our team provides testing solutions, methodologies, and best practices across the organization, with a strong focus on test automation and quality engineering. We are looking for a motivated team member who will work closely with our Technical Lead, progressively gaining expertise while providing support, guidance, and consultancy to our internal clients.

The successful candidate will help teams adopt and optimize automated testing solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, promote testing best practices, and contribute to the evolution of our testing portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines a solid background in test automation technologies with a strong customer-service mindset. They enjoy helping teams succeed, are passionate about quality engineering, and are eager to grow into a trusted expert for testing tools, automation frameworks, and emerging testing platforms.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·        Advanced Roadmaps on Jira. 

• Support internal teams in the implementation and usage of test automation solutions.
• Assist users with troubleshooting, configuration, and best-practice guidance.
• Work alongside the team's Technical Lead to deliver testing automation expertise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts, studies, and evaluations of emerging testing technologies.
• Promote automation, quality engineering, and DevOps best practices across the organization.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Required Skills

Test Automation Frameworks & Tools

Strong hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:

·        Selenium

·        Robot Framework

·        Playwright

·        Appium

Commercial Testing Solutions

Knowledge or experience with:

·        OpenText UFT One

·        OpenText UFT Developer

Mobile Testing Platforms

Knowledge of mobile device testing solutions such as:

·        Digital.AI Continuous Testing

·        Perfecto

·        Similar cloud-based mobile testing platforms

Development & Automation

·        Scripting and automation capabilities (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)

·        Experience consuming and testing REST APIs

·        Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automation pipelines

Good to have Skills

The team is currently evaluating new services to expand its portfolio. Experience in the following areas would be highly appreciated:

·        Test containers

·        MicroK8s

·        Containers and Kubernetes ecosystems

·        Cloud-native testing environments

·        DevOps and Platform Engineering practices

·        Knowledge of AI-assisted test automation tools (Selenium MCP, Playwright MCP/CLI, Appium MCP...)
