Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Department: BNP Paribas Fortis, CBPS - Transversal Capabilities & Functions
About Business line/Function: BNP Paribas IT teams are providing infrastructure, development and production support services to all applications used worldwide by all business lines. There is a great variety of technologies and infrastructures from legacy systems to cutting edge Cloud technologies.
Within BNP Paribas Group IT, the filiere “FORTIS” oversees operationally to the challenges of IT applications with an end-to-end vision and consistently across the Bank. Several domains of these filiere contribute to this, including the domain “Service Offering DevOps”, which provides the DevSecOps platform for IT Group, Control Center, DB Activities and move to Cloud project.

Position Purpose:
As a System Engineer you will be part of a team that is responsible for the following operational activities:
- Treatment and Analysis of current and legacy systems
- Integrator at heart – collecting information about the source and target systems and making an integration plan with all dependencies identified
- Perform analysis and suggest improvements and efficiency
- Perform scripting and configuration
- Perform maintenance and support activities
- Perform Admin and Troubleshooting activities
- Assist with Incidents and fixes, find out root cause and escalate to the proper teams for resolution, close tickets within the agreed SOA
- Be the SPOC for applications, learn functional knowledge and be able to analyze the impact of new changes or dependencies on the platform
- Coordinate with other teams/ Depts for packaging solution, testing and deployment in Visual studio SSIS
- Collaborate on SharePoint data and SNOW tickets
- Perform monitoring and optimization activities
- Be resilient to Banking environment and the rules of working
- Work in an AGILE methodology and respecting all the ceremonies and team collaboration
