Job Title: RPA – Blue Prism Developer

Department: ITG

About Business line/Function: 

BNL Robotics Center Of Excellence has the responsibilities of the following activities: 

Ø  the development of Automated processes 

Ø  the run of the robots respecting the Business SLA agreed

Ø  to work closely with the business to identify areas of application of innovative technologies aimed at automating banking processes (Robotic & Intelligent Process Automation) with a view to improving the quality of services and making processes more efficient

Ø  to evolve the ecosystem of Robotics Process Automation, integrating new technologies and tools 

Currently the software used by the CoE are: Blueprism, RPA Supervisor (C-TWO), Appian

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Problem solving on run activities, manage maintenance tickets respecting business SLA,monitoring the scheduling of the Run of the robots, taking in charge of new/modified robots and check if the quality of code and documentation is debug the automated processes with problems and develop corrections, analysis, design and development of evolutions of running robots,propose improvements on robot scheduling organization classifying tickets to address improvement actions (Lean methodology) support reporting on run activities to the management Interact with other IT maintenance teams to speed up the solution of problems

 

 

Contributing Responsibilities

Support the evolution of BNL Coe ecosystem and Best Practices of Run and Development activities

Support BNL CoE Run Chapter Leader in the optimization of the Run Activities

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Fundamental skills:

·         Deep knowledge of Blue Prism Automation tools

Important skill:

·         good knowledge of at least one of the following languages: VB, .NET, C#, Java

·         knowledge of automated process architectures

·         knowledge of abstract classes, interfaces, mastery of the object paradigm

·         knowledge of relational databases such as: MS SQL Server, Oracle

·         Basic knowledge of other automation tools: Uipath, Selenium, Appian, Power Automate 

 

Generic knowledge of:

·         knowledge of Requirements Collection, Analysis, Design, Development and Test activity

·         knowledge of the reference architectures and main integration issues

·         knowledge of how systems are monitored and maintained

·         continuous improvement approaches (Lean methodology)

 

 

Specific Qualifications:

Has at least five years of analysis and development experience, with three years of experience in developments with RPA Blueprism technology

- Has experience in functional analysis and design of IT solutions

- Excellent knowledge of the Office package 

- Problem Solving techniques

- Experience on maintenance activities of automated processes

- Knows the SQL language for querying databases

- Has knowledge of host-mainframe and/or open technologies/architectures

- Holds a master's degree in Computer Engineering, Management Engineering or similar, preferably with Robotics skills
