About the job  

  • Reporting to the Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) CCCO (Chief Conduct and Control Officer) Central team, the Procedures Officer plays a key role in supporting the CCCO community across business lines and functions worldwide
  • This role contributes to the standardisation, management, and continuous improvement of the global procedures framework, ensuring procedures are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with Group and CIB requirements. The position helps drive process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence by collaborating with relevant stakeholders across the organization
  • To achieve its mission, the Procedures Officer will liaise with a network of Procedure Correspondents disseminated in the various CIB entities

Your Main Activities Are  

  • Ensure timely publication of procedures within the central repository
  • Monitor the lifecycle of procedures, including managing renewal deadlines and proactively engaging stakeholders to avoid overdue documentation
  •  Support the maintenance and continuous enhancement of policies by deploying the Quality Assurance Framework to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Track data quality issues, coordinate remediation actions, and follow up actively to ensure effective resolution, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  •  Act as the primary point of contact with Single Point of Contact (SPOCs) and Procedure correspondents to uphold quality standards
  •  Prepare reports to track work progress, monitor identified issues and oversee their resolution
  •  Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights to enhance procedural quality, consistency, and efficiency
  •  Prepare and disseminate across CIB communications regarding newly published or updated L1 & L2 Group procedures applying to CIB
  •  Prepare communications when specific data quality remediation action plans are launched
  •  Support training initiatives designed to improve stakeholders’ understanding of procedural guidelines and lifecycle management
  •  Assist in central CIB procedures governance activities, including preparing governance materials and presentations
  •  Support the administration and access management of tools related to procedure repositories
  • Contribute to enhance the tool repository and the existing dashboards, to facilitate data quality achievement

Profile and Skills to Success 

  • Academic background in a relevant area such as Administrative, Law, Business Management, Finance etc. 
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with a delivery-focused mindset and keen attention to accuracy and detail
  • High attention to detail and a strong quality assurance mindset
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across multiple geographies
  • Good understanding of risk management framework
  • Analytical and reporting skills
