About the job
- Global Equities and Commodity Derivatives (GECD) Global Markets Issuance and Settlement Operations deal with the Issuance / Settlement of Equity Derivatives (EQD) life-cycle events by BNP Paribas Issuance B.V.
- The Team also handles the Settlement Operations of Securities Product Placement (SPS) and Emissions Trading System (ETS) Certificates and Warrant products in the European Domestic markets
Your Main Activities Are
- Integration of operational Certificates and Warrant trades into our dedicated Back Office tool Calypso in purpose of their settlement at European domestic markets
- Analysis of potential breaks about our electronic execution’s trade between Back-Office (BO) vs Middle-Office (MO) or Front-Office (FO) vs Broker at a daily basis
- Management and control of daily netting of electronic trades to European domestic markets. Analysis of Failed trades at a daily and weekly basis and actions for their resolutions by chasing counterparties and clients or MO and FO
- Integration of new issuances, increases or decreases into our Back Office tool Calypso and control of their consistency facing Front Office issuances booking, then distribution of information to our different depositaries at a daily basis about the new issuances of ETS products
- Analysis at a daily basis of potential short positions to deliver, the hedging of position and manual increase request to FO if these events occurred
- Analysis and alert to provide to our different support IT (Calypso, Power, FEEDS AND RECS)
- Analysis of position breaks (Front to Back and depositaries), cash breaks (treasury) and Profit and Loss (accounting)
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics
- Up to 2 years of professional experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel
- Proficient knowledge of Calypso
- Proficient knowledge of Operating Systems Windows
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Results driven and able to deliver

- Able to develop and adapt a process
