Job Title: Vice President

Department: ISPL-2S

About Business line/Function: HFS

Position Purpose: The position requires the person to identify areas where improvements/efficiencies could be made and work towards getting them implemented on the floor. It would also require the candidate to work with different work streams and identify their problem areas and come up with new solutions which could help in fixing the problem highlighted.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Client and HFS operational needs / requests:

· Coordinate with Client Relationship Manager / directly with clients to define needs. 

· Collect and analyze operating model change requests.

· Review / complete project initiation documents to ensure the proper documentation of request. 

HFS Fund Administration operational workflow:

· Identify lacks and weaknesses and suggest solutions in the operational workflows.

· Define / ensure an efficient operating model.

Potential solutions to change requests and impacts on current operating model:

· Consider adaptation of current process Vs development of new solutions when needed. 

· Consider implementation of BP2S Group solutions when available. 

Changes with users, developers, external contractors and support teams:

· Ensure clear and precise documentation of all projects steps as defined in BP2S’ Project Management methodology.

· Ensure a regular follow up with all involved parts during the project life cycle.

Priorities of operational needs and requests with Head of HFS and N-1 head of HFS:

· Organize priorities meetings.

· Suggest priorities based on global vision and technical background.

 

Contributing Responsibilities

· Ensure user guides / procedures have been prepared.

· Initialize training when needed. 

· Share information / ideas on BCM team’s subjects.

· Ask for personal training / other team members’ advices when needed. 

· Follow up the status of all client’s requests during dedicated meetings. 

· Organize PCM meetings.  

· Communicate projects status to client.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

· Excellent knowledge of financial products like Futures, Swaps, Options, etc.

· Good knowledge of the entire NAV workflow and the NAV process.

· Handle common MS Office files / programs.

· A deeper knowledge of Excel & Macros is ideal.

· Experience on Advent Geneva system would be preferred – an added advantage.

· Good Excel and MS office skills

· Good communication skills; English - For documentation, meetings & calls. (Knowing French language will be an advantage)

· Participation in system development projects, process change projects, etc.

 

Specific Qualifications:

Graduates / Postgraduates: (M.Com /MBA Finance preferred)          

Relevant years of experience:       12 to 15 Years

 

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

o Strong knowledge of Excel, Excel formulas and VBA macro

o Good experience on Power BI, MS PowerPoint

o Working experience on project management tool Data Management and data presentation.

o Strong understanding of investment products.

o Business Process Reengineering (BPR) – Ability to redesign inefficient process.

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
