BNP Paribas CIB is a top-tier corporate bank, processing €Xbn+ in annual credit exposures across 50+ markets. Our credit platform is the central system for origination, risk management, and portfolio monitoring, used daily by thousands of bankers globally to structure and manage complex credit facilities.
We are expanding our team and looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help shape the next evolution of this platform. This role sits at the crossroads of credit risk, front‑office activity, and digital transformation, offering real impact and visibility across the organisation.
Our Technology & Delivery Environment
- The platform is built on a modern Java/Angular architecture with 20+ interconnected modules.
- Delivery is driven by 14 cross‑functional teams, each around 10 people strong, owning 1-3 modules end‑to‑end.
- As a Senior BA, you will be embedded in one of these product teams, working closely with developers, testers, architects, and product owners to evolve your module(s).

Senior IT Business Analyst - Credit Lifecycle & Digital Transformation
Requirements:
- 8+ years as a Business Analyst in corporate credit, with expertise in:
- Credit lifecycle management (origination → monitoring → syndication).
- Credit risk systems (limits, covenants, exposure tracking).
- Complex credit products (syndicated loans, structured finance, trade finance).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives (Credit, Risk, Tech).
- Experience in Agile environments with distributed teams developing IT systems.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to ESG-linked credit or sustainable finance.
- Knowledge of credit pricing, RWA optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud‑based or AI‑augmented credit systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Own Credit Platform Evolution
- Lead the functional design of end-to-end credit workflows (origination, approvals, monitoring).
- Shape long-term improvements in facility management, covenant tracking, and risk integration.
- Ensure the platform supports high-value credit products (syndicated loans, structured finance, trade finance).
2. Drive Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate with the Global Framing Team on the multi‑year strategic roadmap.
- Partner with Credit Risk, Front Office, and Tech Leadership to prioritize the midterm roadmap.
- Influence decisions on credit system architecture, automation, and scalability.
- Present solutions to senior stakeholders.
3. Enable Adoption & Quality
- Oversee UAT and change management for critical credit features.
- Mentor junior BAs and standardize best practices across teams.
